You can now add songs or music to Photos, Videos on Facebook

Social media giant, Facebook is taking its platform a notch higher with the latest update. Right now, users can now add song or music to their photos or videos shared on Facebook stories. This new move by Facebook will reduce the frequent and popular photo editing apps that uses this tools.

Sharing photos and video on Facebook has been the same for a while now, although, the company has pushed some slight changes to how it works. But adding music or a song to your photos and videos is a different approach to a proper dimension of attraction.

Thankfully, it works majestically and simple. To do this, take a photo or video, tap on the sticker icon and select the music sticker. After getting the song, you can trim and pick the perfect part to share and add the sticker with the artist and song name.

“And, we’re bringing it to News Feed, too!,” Facebook said in a statement on Wednesday, adding that users would soon be able to add songs to their Profile as well.

The June update “Lip Sync Live” will soon roll out to every user and users can lip sync to songs, to all profiles in many countries around the world. Here is Facebook statement:

“We are also opening up the feature to more artists and creators by expanding to Pages, giving them more ways to connect with their fans,” said Facebook’s Fred Beteille, Head of Product, Music and Rights, and Tamara Hrivnak, Head of Music Business Development and Partnerships.

Facebook isn’t the only company to bring this feature, you can also do this on Instagram. After all, the steps to adding it works perfectly in the same way. Users can move the sticker around and add other stickers and effects to customize their story.
