Fitbit Sense is the company’s most capable wearable device yet – Inspire 2 and Versa 3 announced

With technology getting more advanced daily, the American Technology Fitness company, Fitbit unveils its most advanced Smartwatch that can take your skin’s temperature, which helps you manage stress, it is called Fitbit Sense.

The Fitbit Sense Smartwatch physical appearances are quite similar to the Versa 2’s successor, the $229 Versa 3, which was launched alongside the $99 Inspire 2 fitness tracker. However, these watches are up for pre-orders.

Aside from the design, the Fitbit Sense comes with advanced heart specs, where we’ve got the stress detection feature, -Electrodermal Activity sensor (EDA) that measures stress, which is the sweat levels on your skin.

Just put your palm over the face of the watch, breath and the EDA Scan app measure your heart rate and stress levels. The Fitbit’s app will score you on your stress level, with a higher score being better than a lower one.

The scores depend on the stress level, especially if your skin feels hot, chilled, or clammy. Fitbit Sense will try to make sense of the situation of what is going on. The watch is equipped with a wide array of other sensors.

With everyone being stressed with almost everything going on around the world, and lockdown period, this new Fitbit Sense Smartwatch should be one of the devices to get around with.

Another advanced health feature is the electrocardiogram (ECG), which is pending approval by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which is similar to the Cupertino tech giant, Apple. While Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 had gotten FDA clearance for its EKG feature.

The ECG tracks your heart rate and heart rate variability with atrial fibrillation (afib) detection. To use it, you’ll touch and hold your pointer finger and thumb on the bottom-left and top-right bezels surrounding the screen.

Gsmarena reported that the Skin Temperature sensor can detect the first signs of a fever or the start of a new menstrual phase. The Sense can also calculate your breathing rate and measure SpO2 (blood oxygen saturation), the SpO2 watch face will show you your readings from last night.

However, the Fitbit Sense watch is still similar to other Smartwatches out there. Where we’ve got an AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 3 and Always On Mode. There is the built-in GPS, water-resistance up to 50 meters, and over 20 on-device exercise modes.

Others include a new snap-on magnetic charging mechanism, built-in speaker, and microphone, digital assistants such as Amazon Alexa, or the Google Assistant. It also comes with support for contactless payments.

Also, you can respond to texts and answer calls with either smartwatch, this is possible with your nearby Android phone. Fitbit also ensured this feature is available to the Versa 3 Smartwatch also.

And the Battery life is something better, you can get 6 days of battery life. It uses fast charging technology, which allows you to get better battery life in 12 minutes, gives you 10 to 80 percent in 40 minutes.

With the same battery life and fast charging capabilities, this is a less focused health Smartwatch, the Fitbit Versa 3. The company now allows you to push a button at the back to detach the strap mechanisms, similar to Fitbit Sense.

Similar to the Sense, we have the in-built speaker and microphone, which was lacking on the Versa 2. This means you can now take calls or dictate a text message to your digital assistant, either Alexa or the newly added Google Assistant.

You can listen to playlists from Deezer, Pandora, and Spotify. It also supports Fitbit Pay for contactless payments.
The Versa 3 also comes with a built-in GPS, a heart rate sensor, resistance up to 50 meters, and it also supports basic exercise tracking.

    Fitbit Inspire 2

Lastly, this is the Inspire 2 fitness tracker from Fitbit. It comes with support for 24/7 heart rate tracking, over 20 goal-based exercise modes, guided breathing, and female health tracking.

It is more basic when compared to the Sense and Versa 3 Smartwatches. But instead of the company using the predecessor Inspire’s HR button-based navigation, the Inspire 2 fitness tracker comes with a new touch-sensitive panel.

As usual, with your connected and nearby but within reach, you can use it to send a quick reply. It shows push notifications and comes with support for 10-day battery life. Which is expectedly bigger than the other two devices.

The Inspire 2 smart band comes with water-resistant, activity and sleep tracker, and heart rate monitor. Fitbit is asking for $99 cash for the Inspire 2. It is definitely price-friendly, although, it does not offer much from its predecessor.

Aside from the advanced health benefits, the Versa 3 is just the low-budget Fitbit Sense. But it costs a whopping $229, while the Sense is priced at $329.

All the models will ship by September 25, and you can pre-order any today. For the time being, you can say that the Fitbit Sense is the company’s best flagship device and the most capable wearable device ever.
