Unfortunately, those old memories of powerful and nostalgic feeling of flagship mobile phone with strong presence of impressive designs such as metallic panel, polycarbonate shell, anodized-aluminum unibody iconic design are slipping through the subway channels. Google Pixel 3 XL embraces all-glass design!
The third-generations of Google Pixel phones, Pixel 3 and Pixels 3 XL Android Smartphones skipped the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL aluminum design for all-glass design. The complete front and back design are accepted by major phone maker due to the supportive measure of integrating Qi Wireless charging.
Glass design is always considered fragile, probably, that was the reason Apple decided to skip the design for a very long period of time. But 2017 marks a new change of story from Apple with their insight on iPhone series, beginning from the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X, with all glass design. The answer to that, “Apple has always been slow and loafer to new innovations”
Of course, Glass design smartphones are gorgeous, shiny and flawless but what about the costs, when it falls down? Building plastic back on Smartphone totally depends on the material used, what about using a high-end premium, strong and impeccable engineering polycarbonate shell. It will not only look attractive but low-priced.
