With notable specifications and features, Honor officially launched its latest Smartphone in China, HONOR Play5 Vitality Edition with an impressive display panel and it is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor.
The Honor Play5 Vitality Edition arrives with a 6.67-inch FHD+ LCD screen with 1080 pixels screen resolution, with support for a 120Hz refresh rate that provides smooth scrolling around the panel and a 94.4% screen-to-body ratio.
It is 8.5mm slim, weighs 192g, and comes in Midnight Black and Aurora Blue colors options. There is a volume up/down button alongside a power button that doubles as a fingerprint scanner and it features a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Honor Play5 Vitality Edition comes with a triple rear camera setup, offering a primary 64-megapixels f/1.9 lens, secondary f/2.4 8-megapixels ultra-wide sensor, and 2-megapixels depth sensor. Inside the punch-hole display is a 16-megapixels f/2.0 aperture.
Honor Play5 Vitality Edition is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Dimensity 900 chips, its a 6nm processor with its 2x Cortex-A78 CPU clocking at 2.4GHz and 6x Cortex-A55 CPU clocking 2GHz. It comes with a Mali-G68 MC4 GPU for graphic design.
The new handset is available in a single 8GB RAM with either 128GB or 256GB internal storage. It runs Android 11 with Magic UI 4.2, 4300mAh (typical) / 4200mAh (minimum) with 66W SuperCharge fast charging through USB Type-C connector.
The new handset comes with the following connectivity: 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, and GPS for positioning. The HONOR Play5 Vitality Edition joins the Play5 series, including Play5, Play5T, and Play5T Vitality Edition.
Honor Play5 Vitality Edition 8GB + 128GB version costs 1799 yuan ($281 / NGN115,280 Nigerian Naira) and the bigger 256GB storage version goes for 1999 yuan ($313 / NGN128,415 Nigerian Naira). It’ll be available in China from November 1st, but pre-order has begun.
