    “Pausing Web & App Activity may limit or disable more personalized experiences across Google services.     How to stop Google from tracking your location on Android

    Here is how to turn Web & App Activity on or off on your Android device.

    – Open your phone Setting
    – Scroll to Google settings
    – Tap Personal info & privacy and then
    – Activity controls and then
    – Web & App Activity.
    – Now Turn Web & App Activity on or off.

    It is pretty much easier on Android phones, but your device must be connected to the internet before you’ll be able to complete the above commands.

    How to delete Google search activity data

    There on the platform, you can also delete all of the data already saved in your Web and App Activity. You can delete batches of entries sorted by date or web service.

    – Go to Google activity page
    – There is the timestamp, click on the three dots and tap on “Delete”
    – To delete all, click on “Delete activity by”
    – Select your timestamp and tap on delete

    “Location History is a Google product that is entirely opt in, and users have the controls to edit, delete, or turn it off at any time. As the story notes, we make sure Location History users know that when they disable the product, we continue to use location to improve the Google experience when they do things like perform a Google search or use Google for driving directions.”
