Huawei introduces Band 6 Pro and Watch GT 2 Pro ECG with better upgrades from their predecessor

    HUAWEI unveils its latest wearable gadgets – HUAWEI Band 6 Pro and the HUAWEI Watch GT 2 Pro ECG. These new devices come with more technical and software upgrades than their predecessor and both devices come alongside the P50 series.

    To be more precise with its intriguing feature, the Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro ECG comes with support for electrocardiogram readings while Band 6 Pro comes with body temperature measurements.

    HUAWEI says that it is the company’s first smart wearable medical device to obtain a Class II medical device registration certificate from the National Medical Products Administration.

    In the line of succession, the HUAWEI Band 6 Pro is the successor to Huawei Band 6 and the HUAWEI Watch GT 2 Pro ECG officially succeeds the HUAWEI Watch GT 2 Pro watch, which was the company top-premium wearable before the ECG support.

    The Band 6 Pro still doesn’t have GPS support but comes with 24-Hour Heart Rate Monitoring, blood oxygen (SpO2) monitoring and 96 workout modes. It is available in Midnight Black and Mica Gray colors options. It comes with a 1.47-inch AMOLED display panel.

    In addition, there is a built-in temperature detection sensor to detect skin temperature and estimated body temperature that shows changes in body temperature and provides high and low-temperature reminders. It arrives with up to 14days of battery life.

    On the other hand, the HUAWEI Watch GT 2 Pro ECG still offers a rugged sharp design with premium materials, including a sapphire watch crystal, titanium case, and skin-friendly ceramic case back. It comes in a single Obsidian Black color option.

    There are supports for 100+ workout modes, including 17 professional modes and 85 custom modes. It also comes with SpO2, HUAWEI TruSeen™ 4.0 heart rate monitoring technology, which promises to monitor your heart rate in real-time with accurate results.

    Huawei promises up to 2 weeks of battery life on the Watch GT 2 Pro ECG with 5 minutes of wireless quick charge, and 10 hours of use. The display is similar to the predecessor, offering a 1.39-inch AMOLED display panel. It runs Huawei Lite OS.

    The HUAWEI Band 6 Pro is priced at 449 yuan ($69) and you can be able to order from August 11th. meanwhile, it will go on sale in China from August 20th. While the Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro ECG costs 3088 yuan ($477) and is already available to order but you will officially go on sale in China from the 12th of August.
