Infinix HOT 9 and HOT 9 Pro announced in India with Helio P22 SoC

    Infinix HOT 9 and HOT 9 Pro announced in India with 6.6-inch HD+ punch-hole display, Android 10, 8-megapixels front-facing camera, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, 5000mAh battery, and MediaTek Helio P22 12nm processor.

    Slowly and steadily, Infinix, Tecno, and itel that are all owned by Transsion Holdings are swiftly moving into the Asian market. Previously, Infinix introduced Note 7 with Xiaomi’s identical camera tray and other stunning tech specs.

    The HOT 9 and HOT 9 PRO are quite similar to each other, from the display, processor, battery, and front-facing cameras. While the only difference is the QUAD-rear cameras on the back of the phones.

    Infinix Hot 9 Pro

    Infinix announced its latest mid-range affordable phone in the HOT series, which is a little bit different from the HOT 9 and HOT 9 that was announced in Kenya about a month ago.

    The major highlight of the mobile phones is the 2018 MediaTek Helio P22 processor built on the advanced TSMC 12nm FinFET production process. The Helio P22 brings high-end features to mid-tier devices.

    Alongside is the IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU that powers the graphics of mobile games, 4GB of RAM, 64GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 256GB with a microSD slot.

    The new HOT 9 series arrives with a 6.6-inch 720 pixels HD+, 20:9 aspect ratio with 2.5D curved glass display. Boasts of 90.5% screen-to-body ratio and arrives in Ocean Wave and Violet color options.

    The phones come with a unique gem-cut texture design on the back, which is definitely stunning and reflects exclusively under sunlight.

    HOT 9 and HOT 9 PRO comes with QUAD rear camera setup, where the HOT 9 features the 13-megapixels as its main rear camera with triple LED Flash and the HOT 9 PRO with 48-megapixels main rear camera with f/1.8 and QUAD LED Flash.

    The rest of the three cameras on both phones are the 2-megapixels macro lens, 2-megapixels depth sensor, and Low-light AI camera. With 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS connectivity.

    Infinix Hot 9 and Hot 9 Pro

    Both phones sport the camera-cutout at the top left corner of the display, which houses the same 8-megapixels selfie snapper f/2.0 aperture with LED flash and supports Wide Selfie Mode.

    Other specs include the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor scanner, Android 10 with XOS 6.0, Dual SIM, weighs 185g, measures 8.7mm, 3.5mm audio jack, DTS-HD Surround Sound and 5000mAh battery capacity and supports 10W charging.

    For availability, the Infinix Hot 9 series will be available on June 8 (HOT9) and June 5 (PRO). Where the HOT 9 starts at INR8,499 ($112) and INR9,499 ($125) for the HOT 9 PRO. That is the date for the flash sale.
