Infinix Smart 3 Plus announced with water-drop notch, triple rear camera, and 3500mAh battery

    The Infinix Smart 3 Plus has been unveiled in India, and it packs a water-drop notch display, along with a triple rear camera and a 3,500mAh battery capacity.

    Chinese Smartphone companies are solely taking the tech a notch further, but this is the first time, Infinix are really going head to head in competition, like the Infinix S4.

    Although, there are significant differences between the Smart 3 Plus vs Infinix S4, but there are bunch of similarities specs and features.

    Infinix are ready to overtake the affordable and budgeted Smartphone market competition in India, along with the likes of Xiaomi’s Redmi, Oppo Realme, Samsung etc.

    Infinix Smart 3 Plus

    Design and Display

    The Infinix Smart 3 Plus Android Smartphone arrives with an appraising design at the back of the phone, along with the company’s logo under the biometric sensor.

    It sports a 6.21-inch HD+ 19.5:9 269ppi pixel density, 2.5D glass protection, with a water-drop notch display style design, and it also boasts of 88% screen-to-body ratio.

    That explains the smaller and minimal bezels at the top, and around the screen display. However, it also arrives with a slight chin at the bottom of the display.

    At the back of the Infinix Smart 3 Plus sits a triple camera setup, a fingerprint sensor scanner alongside with the volume and power buttons on the right edge of the phone.

    Nevertheless, the Smart 3 Plus is available on Flipkart in Midnight Black and Sapphire Cyan color options. It was officially announced in India.

    Camera and Connectivity

    Infinix Smart 3 Plus mobile phone comes with a single front facing camera lens, and a triple rear camera sensor at the back.

    The water-drop notch display design at the up front of the device, houses a single 8-megapixel sensor with AI Beauty mode, Face Unlock and screen flash.

    While the back panel houses a triple camera setup, which includes a primary 13-megapixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture, + 2-megapixel portrait sensor, and a low-light sensor as well.

    Both the selfie sensor and back camera lens are AI-enhanced, as it protrudes excessive camera features including AI scene, PDAF, dual-LED flash, auto scene detection, AR Stickers, and more.

    The network and connectivity options includes Bluetooth v5, 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, dual SIM, Micro-USB port, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and GPS + GLONASS.

    Performance and Battery

    The new Infinix phone is built around a MediaTek Helio A22 12nm processor, clocked at 64-bit 2GHz Quad-Core processor along with IMG PowerVR GE-class GPU.

    Both the Infinix S4 and Smart 3 Plus Smartphone are powered by the same processor, but the Smart 3 Plus is available in a lone 2GB RAM for multitasking.

    And a 32GB of internal storage, allowing you to store more files, such as photos, musics, videos, movies etc. Fortunately, you can expandable the memory up to 256GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

    It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) based on the company’s XOS 5.0 out of the box. It is the latest Android OS, and the company’s skin.

    The Infinix Smart 3 Plus is backed by a 3,500mAh battery capacity, which the company promises that it can last for 25 hours of 4G talk time, 34 hours of music playback, 10 hours of video playback, and 25 days of standby time.

    If you are interested in purchasing the Smartphone, the company has announced that the Infinix Smart 3 Plus will be sold at Rs.6999, via Flipkart from April 30.

    It has been officially launched in Nigeria, at a very affordable price of N35,000. And can be purchased via online stores or offline retailer stores around you.

    Frankly, the Infinix Smart 3 Plus Android Smartphone is a budgeted Smartphone, and the company are expanding their portfolio in India.
