Meizu M6s – 18:9 screen ratio, Halo button feature and Side fingerprint sensor

    The Chinese company founded in 2003, Meizu will join the 18:9 screen aspect ratio era with their new Meizu M6s edge-to-edge full screen display with a rounded corners and thinner bezels. The M6s is the newest member recently launched to its M series smartphones.

    Meizu M6s is the company first Meizu phone to arrive with 18:9 screen ratio with an impressive display. And also the first phone in the domestic market that uses Samsung’s Exynos 7872 64-bit hexa-core processor. Runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat with the company’s Flyme OS 6.2.

    Comes with 5.7-inch HD+ (1440 x 720) display with a 2.5D curved glass on top of it. Measuring 152 x 72.54 x 8mm, while it weighs 160 grams and features a side-fingerprint scanner, for faster unlocking time.

    Another spicy specs is the Halo feature button which serves as its dedicated pressure sensor. The new Halo button is a mBack key that works as the virtual button. This is how the command works on the Halo button feature;

    The Meizu M6S includes a metal-clad designed smartphone with a 16-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture. It has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The side-facing fingerprint scanner is called ‘Super mBack’ fingerprint sensor and can unlock the device in 0.2 seconds, says Meizu.

    For the power house, Meizu M6s comes with 3,000mAh non-removable battery with 18W fast charging (0-30 percent in 15 minutes, says Meizu). For the pricing and availability, Meizu’s M6S is now available. Prices start at $155.24 for the 32GB variant and $186.31 for 64GB. The phone comes in Champagne Gold, Matte Black, Moonlight Silver and Cobalt Blue.
