It was officially announced with Office 365 integration, and it happens to be Microsoft first true wireless earbuds, as the company is trying to venture into the latest phone accessories with unique features and design.
More like other classic true wireless earbuds out there on the market, the new Microsoft Surface Earbuds offers the same base feature, providing effective sounds quality.
Starting from the basis, the new Surface earbuds comes with eight hours of battery life with a charging case that provides up to 24 hours of use, that charges via a USB Type-C charging port, touch and voice controls for music, calls and more.
Down to the distinctive large circular design, and main bud which rest inside your ear without blocking your ear canal and are more comfortable than most earbuds. All thanks to the four individual anchor points lock the earbuds securely into place once they are positioned in your ears.
It is also used for touch interactions, such as swipe up or down to change volume, swipe back or forward to change tracks, double-tap to pause music and make calls, or touch and hold to activate your personal digital assistant (Cortana).
Other features includes a 13.6mm driver with a frequency response of 20 –20 kHz, dual microphones per earbud, and supports SBC and aptX audio codecs. The Earbuds are also IPX4 rated.
But the most anticipated feature that distinct the Surface Earbuds from the available TWS on the market is the ability to live transcribe what you are saying while presenting a PowerPoint on a connected computer.
This is all about the live captions and subtitles on-screen in Powerpoint including translation into one of 60+ languages and swipe to advance slides and talk. And it also works perfectly even in Noisy area.
Microsoft Surface Earbuds also allows you to simply touch and hold to manage your Outlook calendar, listen and reply to an email, capture to-do’s, and also get assistance from Cortana3 or your preferred digital assistant.
Aside from this amusing features, the Microsoft Surface Earbuds failed to arrived with active noise cancellation and are considerable expensive at $249. Anyways, you can start having them later this year.
