Nokia 3.1 in Review
On the screen display, the phone has a slight increased size of 5.2-inches HD 18:9 aspect ratio from the Nokia 3 with 5.0 inches.
Comes with a 146.25 x 68.65 x 8.7mm dimension and weighs 138.3g. The screen resolution of 1440 x 720pixels is technically not surprisingly for such model of phone.
Another slight upgrade is the camera aspect, the Nokia 3 features a 8-megapixel camera but on the Nokia 3.1, there is a 13-megapixels at the rear and an 8-megapixel wide angle front-facing camera. Expect a bright and shiny shot.
The phone will be available in two different variants, a 2GB+16GB and 3GB+32GB RAM and storage. It is powered b a 1.5GHz Mediatek 6750 eight-core octa-core processor. With the gyroscope sensor, the phone can play AR games like Pokémon Go.
The Nokia 3.1 is also an Android One device and will get monthly security updates for three years, just like its other brothers such as Nokia 5.1. HMD Global promised that, it will also receive update for the Android P (9.0) OS.
Comes with a Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, OTG, 3.5mm headphone jack. Everything is powered by a 2990mAh battery capacity.
It is priced at $160 and $195 for the two variants and will be available from June. In Nigeria, Nokia 3 costs within the range of N39k – N45k, so we are expecting the Nokia 3.1 to be priced around N60k – N80k, when it arrives Nigeria.
