As promised, ZTE’s Nubia brand announced their latest flagship Smartphone in China. This is the Nubia Z20 with dual AMOLED screen, there is a front 6.42-inch FHD+ and back 5.1-inch AMOLED displays, 8GB of RAM, triple rear cameras and it is powered by a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset.
Both display comes with DC dimming, and the new AOD 2.0, supports information display with customizable text, graphics, GIF, video and more. Well, Nubia Z20 users will also enjoy minimal bezels around the screen display.
There is the primary 6.42-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, which acts as the main actual display, while the other at the back, is a secondary 5.1-inch HD+ AMOLED screen that blends into the glass body. It is just similar to the Nubia X that was launched in China in October last year.
You might be surprised about the lack of notch display, including the front camera lens. Well, the tech is eradicate the front bezels, and use back secondary screen display’s cameras as the selfie snapper and rear camera.

The notch-less Nubia Z20 is available in Black, Blue and Red colors options, and it also sports a dual side-mounted fingerprint sensors. Both screen display features HD+ AMOLED curved glass display with 100% NTSC Color Gamut.
Coming straight to the optics aspect, the device packs the main 48-megapixels rear camera with 1/2.25″ Sony IMX586 sensor, 0.8um pixel size, f/1.7 aperture, dual LED flash, OIS, 16-megapixels 122.2° ultra-wide camera, 2.5cm macro, and the 8-megapixels telephoto lens for 3x loss-less zoom and 30x digital zoom.
Like already aforementioned, the salient idea for the dual screen at the back, is to entirely remove the bezels at the front. You can use the triple camera as the front or back camera lens for taking photos.
Another idea behind the dual AMOLED screen is its gaming aspect. As it sports right and left virtual game button functions, four-finger operation and more for gaming. All thanks to FIT4.0, pressure-sensitive frame with custom long and short grip shortcut functions.
It is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 855 Plus 7nm Mobile Platform with 675MHz Adreno 640 GPU for graphic control. Available in three different options, there is the 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB storage / 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB storage and 512GB internal storage.
The Nubia Z20 is the company’s first flagship smartphone to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset. Although, we have other gaming-focused Smartphone powered by the latest Qualcomm’s chipset.
It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with nubia UI 7.0, and it is powered by a gigantic 4000mAh battery capacity with support for 27W fast PD charging as well as Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0.
