    Design and Display

Oh yes, the OnePlus 6 Smartphone has bezels on the top, bottom and sides but the Chinese company did a very good job by trimming down the bezels to a nice fine cut around the screen corners, making it minimal and an almost bezel-less design. Unlike other similar devices with the notch display, the OnePlus 6 looks more beautiful and well delicate design with rounded corners.

On the other hand, the back design looks more attractive, not the first tho but it is an achievement and history breaking for the company, this is the very time, OnePlus is ditching the Uni-body aluminum back cover for the glass back. The OnePlus 6 features an all-glass design, this particular design is featured on top flagship smartphones.

The phone comes with a 6.28 inches Optic AMOLED display with a 2280 x 1080 pixels and OnePlus decided to use the trending 19:9 aspect ratio, which is a slight increase from the 18:9 aspect ratio, there is the 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on both the front and back.

The phone is rated with water resistance but strong enough like other top flagship phones but the OnePlus 6 is well-equipped to survive a drop in the sink or a spilled glass of water. As the company explained, ‘don’t take it for a swim’

The company retained the headphone jack and there is a dedicated button on the side of the device with the volume rocker and switch on / off button. Sorry, there is no in-display fingerprint and despite having glass back, it does not support wireless charging technology.

The phone is made available in different colors options and they includes Mirror Black/ Midnight Black/ Silk White
Dimensions. On the back, it comes with dual camera lens with the fingerprint sensor scanner nicely placed under the camera pixels, looking more like the Galaxy S9! Packs a 155.7×75.4×7.75 mm dimension and weighs 177g.

    Camera and Connectivity

Undoubtedly, the OnePlus 6 is a basically a camera Smartphone with its superior and prosperous shiny camera aperture. The camera on the handset is comparable to the capacity of Galaxy S9 and iPhone X. Well, not actually like the Huawei P20 Pro.

The device features a dual facing camera set up of Sony IMX 519 16-megapixels 1.22 µm + Sony IMX 376K 20-megapixels 1.0 µm, while both of them comes with f/1.7 and Dual LED Flash. This time around, the rear camera has been enhanced with various features such as OIS, EIS, Autofocus, DCA. Don’t just expect a clearer shot but a stabilized one for that matter.

The rear cameras has been compensated with bokeh portrait mode, this will allow users to shoot image and differentiate the subject from the background, hence, blurring it. Others includes, the Portrait, Pro Mode, Panorama, HDR, HQ.

Thankfully, the device is able to shoot a 4K resolution video at 30/60 fps, that is more bigger and acceptable than most of the other high-end premium devices out there. There is the super slow motion of 1080p video at 240 fps.

While on the front facing camera, the phone packs a Sony IMX 371 16-megapixels front selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0 at 1.0 µm pixel sight. It has been equipped with Portrait, HDR, Screen Flash, Smile Capture, Face Beauty.

All these features allows you to take conspicuously camera shot. There is EIS and it is able to shoot image at 1080P resolution video at 30 fps. The phone still comes with Face Unlock, this allows you to unlock your device with the scanning of your face.

Meanwhile, on the network and connectivity, the phone comes with LTE, 3G, 2G, WCDMA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, USB 2.0, Type-C, Support USB Audio, Dual nano-SIM slot and fortunately, the company reserved the 3.5 mm audio jack.

On the processor performance, the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 up to 2.8 GHz Octa-core processor with a GPU of Adreno 630 graphics and according to the company, it is the speed you need and it keeps the efficiency of the battery at bay. It allows for a more smoother and faster performance.

The phone comes in different variants, there is the 6GB and 8GB options while on the memory storage, it comes with 64 GB / 128 GB / 256 GB options.
