Oppo K1 launched with under-glass fingerprint, 6GB RAM and 3D glass design

    Pre-order is now for the newly launched Oppo K1 Android Smartphone! The Chinese company’s latest mobile phone packs some impressive designs on the front and back.

    It is the first Smartphone in Oppo K-series, and the beginning of a new era. And it has been launched in India on the 6th of February, 2019.

    Chinese phone makers, Oppo opens a new mid-range family that will bring high-end features down to mid-range phones and the Oppo K1 is the starting of one.

    Sports an in-display fingerprint sensor, and powered by an outdated Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. It packs a 3D glass back design.

    Oppo K1

    The Smart device comes with a large 6.4-inch 19.5:9 2340x1080px Super AMOLED display, with a v-shaped water-drop notch at the up front. Unfortunately, we have seen this regular design on most of the phones out there, including Oppo F9 Pro, with a direct similarities -F9, R17, R17 Pro, Vivo V11 lineups, Vivo Y97 etc.

    Under the display is the in-glass fingerprint sensor scanner. At the back is a dual camera setup, consisting of 16-megapixels + 2-megapixels while the front-facing snapper is hosted by a 25-megapixels selfie camera. However, the cameras are supported and bumped with AI capabilities like scene recognition, AI Beauty etc.

    The Oppo K1 runs ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. And it boasts of 91 percent screen-to-body ratio, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, clocked up to 2.2GHz octa-core coupled with 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM variants. Featuring a 64GB of inbuilt storage, expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.

    Oppo K1 is fueled by a 3500mAh battery capacity, and it is current up for pre-order in China. The Oppo K1 with 4GB RAM/64GB storage is priced at CNY 1,599 / €200 and the Oppo K1 with 6GB RAMM/64GB storage at CNY 1,799 / €230 as shipments start on October 19th.
