Oppo, who recently introduced the Realme sub-brand few weeks ago, this is the Oppo Realme 1 Smartphone and it costs $135 while the 6GB RAM is priced at $205. The Oppo’s Realme sub-brand is meant to take on Xiaomi’s Redmi line competitively.
Xiaomi is however, their top rival and competitor but the company decided to make their Redmi line more affordable to the masses, gaining more attention in the Smartphone markets and at the same time, introducing their flagship premium phones.
Oppo is ready to take on the company with their new Realme 1. Obviously, the device is aimed at Indian youth and will be available online exclusively from Amazon India.

Realme 1 Review
Just like the Oppo F7 and A3, the Realme 1 looks much more identical. The company also promised to make the phone with more unique design, flashy camera, brighter screen but comes at an affordable price.
The handset comes with a tall 6-inch 18:9 Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. Features a back rear facing camera of 13MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture and an LED flash. The phone will be available in Diamond Black and Solar Red color options, later with Moonlight Silver color.
On the front, the device sports an 8MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture. The device supports Oppo’s AI Beauty 2.0 feature that has 296-point facial recognition based on the gender, skin color, age and other factors.
The phone is powered by an Octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 SoC coupled with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. Oppo made the phone available in three variants, they includes 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and thankfully, it can be expanded up to 256GB. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with the company’s custom ColorOS 5.0 skinned on top.
The Oppo Realme 1 is powered by a 3,410mAh battery. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device does not sport a fingerprint sensor and has face unlock support.
Each variants is priced at differently, the 3GB RAM variant costs Rs. 8,990, 4GB RAM variant costs Rs. 10,990 and the 4GB RAM variant costs Rs. 13,990.
