Realme narzo 50A and narzo 50i official in India with a 6.5inch HD+ LCD dewdrop display

    Realme initiates another impressive event with a fine print attached to it, the company officially launches its narzo 50 series alongside other products also. The new narzo 50 series consists of 6.5inch HD+ LCDs Smartphones – Realme narzo 50A and narzo 50i.

    Both phones are remarkable, while the Realme narzo 50i will be available in Mint Green and Carbon Black colors options, the company is offering the narzo 50A in Oxygen Green and Oxygen Blue color. Realme also announced Band 2 for Rs. 2,999 ($40) from September 27.

    The Realme narzo 50A comes with a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel, which is close to the triple camera setup support and a diagonal stripe design inspired by street culture and the energy of youth, it is a two-tone ridged and matte texture back design.

    The narzo 50A and narzo 50i arrive with a 6.5-inch 720 pixels HD+ dewdrop display with an 88.70% screen-to-body ratio, and up to 570 (Sunlight Mode) / 400 nits brightness respectively. As you may already guess, the narzo 50A is the most favored among the duo.

    Realme powers up the narzo 50A with MediaTek Helio G85 12nm chipset with its CPU cores clocking up to 2GHz coupled with up to 1000MHz ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. It is available in 4GB RAM, 64GB / 128GB internal storage, expandable via microSD.

    While a 1.6GHz Octa-Core Unisoc SC9863A processor coupled with IMG8322 GPU powers the narzo 50i. It arrives in 2GB RAM with 32GB storage option and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, any memory option is expandable up to 256GB with microSD.

    These phones come with a 3.5mm audio jack, Dual SIM, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, and GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou for positioning. There is Bluetooth v5.2 support on narzo 50A and lower Bluetooth 4.2 on the 50i.

    Realme narzo 50i sports an 8-megapixels f/2.0 lens with LED flash support and a 5-megapixels f/2.2 lens. It packs a 5000mAh battery with 10w charging via a traditional micro USB port. It runs realme UI Go Edition based on Android 11 OS out of the box.

    On the other better hand, the Realme narzo 50A comes with an f/1.8 50-megapixels Samsung’s JN1 sensor, accompanied with a 2-megapixels macro lens, 2-megapixels B&W lens, and 8-megapixels f/2.0 lens. The camera setup is totally different from the narzo 50i.

    The narzo 50A runs realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 and comes with a 6000mAh battery with 18W charging through USB Type-C. It also supports reverse charging tech. With such battery capacity, the narzo 50A can stay up a day+ on a single full charge.

    The narzo 50A costs Rs. 11,499 ($156 / NGN64,180 Nigerian Naira) for the 4GB RAM / 64GB storage, while the 8GB RAM / 128GB storage model goes for Rs. 12,499 ($170 / NGN69,940 Nigerian Naira).

    While the Realme narzo 50i 2GB RAM / 32GB storage model costs Rs. 7,499 ($101 / NGN41,550 Nigerian Naira) and the 4GB RAM / 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 8,999 ($122 / NGN50,00 Nigerian Naira). Both phone’s first sales kick off on the 7th of October.
