Realme announces triple new phones in its Q2 series lineup with 5G modem, the Q2 5G, Q2i 5G, Q2 5G Pro 5G, and all these mobile phones run on Android 10 OS out of the box with the company’s realme UI skin on top.
It is definitely a big week of phone announcements for Realme as the company announces a new triple Smartphones, that are consider affordable devices under the Q2 brand. These handsets are totally different from each other.
The vanilla and the most affordable among them all, the Q2i 5G starts at CNY998 ($147) for the 4GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB internal storage, powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Dimensity 720 7nm processor with Mali-G57 MC3 GPU.
Others are basic, a 6.52-inch 720 pixels HD+ 20:9 LCD display, f/2.0 8M-megapixels selfie snapper is hosted inside the mini-drop display, while the back holds 13-megapixels sensor with LED flash, and two f/2.4 2-megapixels as 4cm macro and depth sensor.
It packs a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and it comes in either Blue or Silver color options that sports a fancier looking triangular shapes on the back.
The Realme Q2i 5G carries a 5000mAh battery capacity that is available on the realme Q2 5G but with a slower 18W fast charging via USB Type-C. The Realme Q2i will launched for its first flash sale on October 21, and will be available from November 1st.
There is the Realme Q2 5G 4GB + 128GB that starts at costs 1299 yuan ($192), and 1399 yuan ($207) for the 6GB + 128GB. And it will be available from October 19th and gets 100 yuan discount during first sale.
It is fueled by a 5000mAh battery with 30W Dart Charge fast charging via USB Type-C. And powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Dimensity 800U (MT6873V) 7nm processor with 4GB / 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, expandable with microSD.
On the front is a 6.5-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 1080 pixels screen resolution, and sports 120Hz refresh rate. The LCD display carries the fingerprint sensor scanner to the side of the phone.
It comes with support for hybrid Dual SIM, 3.5mm audio jack, with 162.2 × 75.1 × 9.1mm dimension and weighs 194g. On the front punch hole in the left corner is a f/2.1 16-megapixels selfie snapper.
Around the back is a triple rear camera setup, which consists of the main f/1.8 48-megapixels camera with LED flash, f/2.3 8-megapixels 119° ultra-wide angle lens, and f/2.4 2-megapixels 4cm macro sensor. It comes in either Blue and Silver color options.
Last on the list is the most powerful device among the three, the Realme Q2 Pro 5G that brings a 6.4-inch 1080 pixels AMOLED screen, with 60Hz refresh rate and 120Hz touch sampling rate, and boasts of 90.8% screen-to-body ratio.
The single punch-hole hosts a 16-megapixels selfie shooter, and packs a quad-rear camera setup on the back that brings a f/1.8 48-megapixels sensor, 8-megapixels ultrawide-angle shooter and two 2-megapixels 4cm macro camera and a B&W portrait camera.
It comes with a AG Split Design, you can choose either Gray leather with embossed “Dare to Leap” on the back or in C Color, which is a Rainbow gradient. It also offers an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Similar to the Q2, the phone is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Dimensity 800U (MT6873V) 7nm processor, 8GB RAM with either 128GB / 256GB internal storage. It arrives with a 3.5mm audio jack and dual nano-SIM slots.
The Realme Q2 Pro 5G sports a 4300mAh battery with support for 65W SuperDart Charge fast charging technology that draws power from a USB Type-C. It comes with 160.9 × 74.4 × 8.1mm dimension and weighs 175g.
It arrives with 1216 super linear speaker with Hi-Res Audio. All three devices comes with 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, USB Type-C connectivity.
The Realme Q2 Pro 5G 8GB + 128GB goes for 1799 yuan ($266), while the Realme Q2 Pro 5G 8GB + 256GB costs 1999 yuan ($296). These handsets are available for order in China starting today, while the Q2 Pro gets 200 yuan discount during first sale and will be available from October 19th.
