After series of events, Realme returned back to China for another Smartphone launch, Realme Q3 series lineup – Realme Q3 5G with Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G, Realme Q3 Pro with Dimensity 1100, and Realme Q3i 5G with Dimensity 700 SoC.
We’ve just listed out the major differences between these affordable 5G phones, these are brand new devices but Realme might still decide to add more later on or launch these phones with name moniker in another country.
As you might have suggested and thought, the Realme Q3 Pro is the main device here, while the Realme Q3 and Q3i are just added with better specifications too. The Q3i model will be available later on.
Realme Q3 Pro
It comes with a 6.43” Full HD+ 20:9 Samsung Super AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 100% DCI-P3 gamut color space, 4096-level brightness adjustment, and 1200 nits peak brightness.
There is an in-screen fingerprint reader, a 91.7% screen-to-body ratio that offers an ultra-narrow chin. And comes in three colors – Electric blue, Gravity Black, and Firefly options.
It arrives with a punch-hole display that houses a 16-megapixel camera sensor, around the back is a triple camera setup, a primary f/1.8 64-megapixels primary with IMX682 sensor, LED Flash, support for 4K 60fps video recording.
Then there is the f/2.3 8-megapixels 119º ultra-wide-angle camera and to complete the three cameras, it is a 2-megapixels macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. It comes with 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS connectivity.
The Realme Q3 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1100 processor with ARM G77 MC9 GPU, it is a 6nm chipset with up to 2.6GHz Octa-Core and available in 6GB / 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage.
Realme used LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, runs on Android 11 OS out of the box with the realme UI 2.0 skin on top. The company mentioned a vapor chamber, 3,175mm² in size, that keeps the chip running cool – up to 15ºC cooler.
The phone packs a 4500mAh with 30W fast charging through USB Type-C that offers up to 100% charge in 59 minutes. The Realme Q3 Pro 6GB RAM / 128GB storage costs 1599 yuan ($246), and the 8GB RAM / 128GB storage costs 1799 yuan ($277).
While the top-end version, the 8GB RAM / 256GB storage goes for 1999 yuan ($307). For availability, the phone will be available to order from today and will go on sale in China from April 29th.
Realme Q3 5G and Q3i 5G
Next up are the next budgeted Smartphones – Realme Q3 and Q3i mobile handset. The Q3 comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ LCD screen display with a 180Hz touch sampling rate, 4096-level brightness adjustment, and 600nits peak brightness.
There is support for a 120Hz refresh rate, 90.5% screen-to-body ratio, 20:9 aspect ratio screen with 96% NTSC color gamut, and comes with a 16-megapixel camera inside the punch-hole camera cutout.
Around the back is a triple rear camera setup, f/1.8 48-megapixel main camera with support for 4K video capture, which tops out at 30fps, and 60fps @ 1080p. Others are 8-megapixel 119° ultra-wide lens and macro lens.
It is powered by next-gen connectivity with a peak download speed of 3.7 Gbps from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G (8nm) chipset with Adreno 619 GPU, and a vapor chamber that promises up to 10ºC lower temperatures.
The Realme Q3 is available in 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB (UFS 2.1) storage, and you can easily expand the storage with microSD and runs on Android 11 OS with realme UI 2.0 and support for Dual SIM, nano + nano + microSD.
It arrives with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack, Hi-Res Audio, 8.8mm thick, weighs 189g, offers Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and 4500mAh battery with 30W fast charging via USB Type-C.
The Realme Q3 comes in Psychedelic silver and Sci-Fi Black color options. The 6GB/128GB option costs 1299 yuan ($199), 8GB/128GB option costs 1399 yuan ($215). You can pre-order today and will go on sale in China on April 29th.
On the other hand, there is the Realme Q3i 5G, which is identical to the Realme 8 5G that was introduced in India, and also a version of the Realme V13 5G which was launched in China last month.
It comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 6.5” LCD display with 1080p+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. It is quite similar to the Q3, even the primary 48-megapixels rear camera.
Although you won’t be getting the ultra-wide lens, instead it is replaced by a B&W depth sensor but the macro camera remains the same. It is the cheapest among the trios, and it still offers 5G connectivity with a peak download speed of 2.77 Gbps.
Inside the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 700 7nm chipset in two major variants, both are expandable with microSD cards up to 1TB and sports a 5000mAh battery with an 18W adapter inside the box.
For pricing and availability, the Realme Q3i 5G 4GB RAM / 128GB costs 999 yuan ($153), and the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version goes for 1099 yuan ($169). You can order the device right now in China.
