Realme U1 with 25MP arrives as the first phone with Helio P70 SoC

    Oppo daughter company, Realme unveils their latest Android Smartphone, and it arrives with spectacular features, specifications and it is economically priced. The phone is one of the best from the company. This is the Realme U1.

    The Realme U1 is a direct competitor to the Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 6 Pro Smartphone.

    After all, the mobile company was first unveiled by Oppo to tackle the affordable markets with Xiaomi in the country. Lets take a look at the quick specs:

    The Oppo’s Realme U1 was officially launched in India, becoming the latest in the country and as a Smartphone brand. You will find those amazing acrylic design, with a shiny and liquid coating on the back, which made it look so premium and glassy!

    It comes with other trendy specs and features, there is the water-drop notch display with 6.3” 1080p 19.5:9 IPS LCD panel 409ppi with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3, and a brightness of 450 nits.

    The Realme U1 is not just the first Smartphone to be launched in the Realme U-series, but it is the company’s first Smartphone to focused on selfies. The company tagged it, “India’s SelfiePro”

    Within a space of one year, the company has launched 5 new mobile phones, and each of them arrives with amazing designs and specifications.

    But the massive 25-megapixels selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture that uses IMX576 sensor with 0.9µm pixels, can impressive shots.

    The selfie snapper also arrives with other AI-features, such as AI-beauty, Scene detection, and it doubles as the phone AI Face Unlock.

    It also supports bokeh effects, Night shots, and delivers 4 in 1 Pixels, faster image processing, HDR, multi-frame noise reduction, all thanks to Helio P70.

    Realme U1 Smartphone features a dual camera setup, that consists of the primary 13-megapixels with f/2.2 aperture + secondary 2-megapixels sensors with f/2.4 aperture. It also supports LED flash and soft light shots.

    To keep the affordable market, it is a dual SIM setup Smartphone, and other handful of network connectivity are also attached to it, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ A-GPS/ GLONASS, micro-USD port, OTG support, and 3.5mm audio jack.

    Say hello to the first mobile phone to be powered by the MediaTek Helio P70 SoC with Cortex-A73 core clocked up to 2.1GHz Octa-core processor, coupled with ARM G72 GPU, for graphic performance.

    It comes in two different variants, there is the 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage, and 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage options, and they are expandable up to 256GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

    The phone is fueled by a 3500mAh battery capacity and runs on the company’s ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating systems, and the sensors includes ambient light sensor, gravity sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensors.

    For the pricing and availability, the phone is available in 3GB RAM / 32GB inbuilt storage, which costs INR 11,999 / $170 / €150, while the 4GB RAN / 64GB storage goes for INR14,999 / $215 / €190. Meanwhile, December 5th is the first sale.
