While the back panel host a QUAD-rear camera setup which includes the main Samsung GWI 64-megapixels sensor with 0.8μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture, LED flash, EIS, 13MP Telephoto lens with 1/3.4″ sensor, 1μm pixel size, f/2.5 aperture for up to 20x hybrid zoom, 2.5cm macro, 8MP 115° 1/3.13″ ultra-wide angle lens with 1.4μm pixel size, f/2.2 aperture, 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture,1.75μm pixel size, 960fps slow-motion.
But the phone sports a 6.55-inch FHD+ display with 91.7% screen-to-body ratio, HDR10+ support, hardware-level DC Dimming 2.0, 90Hz refresh rate and 135Hz touch sampling rate. Higher refresh rate of 90Hz is just the the new thing for flagship phones.
Even the OnePlus 7T comes with such refresh rate and the upcoming Pixel 4 might still arrive with one. 90Hz refresh rate smooth the screen display, like scrolling through timelines or swiping between home screen pages, and the text still remains readable in motion.
Arrives with a 3D glass back panel from that low-priced plastic back panel design. There is still that common industrial design, of which we are not angry at tho.
The screen display bezels are quite smaller, and minimalist. Despite that, the company still squeezes in stereo speakers with the above-average haptic feedback system that provides quality sounds.
Also support in-display fingerprint sensor scanner that can unlock the phone in 0.23 seconds. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus with 675MHz Adreno 640 GPU.
It is available in different variant, there is the 6GB RAM with 64GB / 8GB RAM with 128GB and the top-end 12GB LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB (UFS 3.0) storage.
Sports a liquid cooling along with superconducting carbon fiber for improved heat dissipation, and runs Android Pie with ColorOS on top out of the box.
During the launch, the company also announced its partnership with a renowned Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa, that resulted in a Realme X2 PRO Master Edition that sports a frosted glass, logo and master signature design on the back panel.
It is fueled by a 4000mAh battery capacity with 50W (10W/5A) SuperVOOC fast charging. That allows you to charge the device up to 80 percent of a full charge in half an hour. This isn’t as fast the new Oppo’s own new Reno Ace with 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 Flash Charge.
Despite its few similarities with OnePlus 7T that costs $600, the Realme X2 PRO costs 2,699 yuan ($380), 2,899 yuan ($410) and 3,299 yuan ($465) for 6GB/64GB, 8GB/128GB, 12GB/256GB models respectively.
