The Redmi Y3 Smartphone has been announced in India, and it arrives with a 32-megapixel selfie camera with EIS, dual rear camera, Aura Prism gradient design, and it is powered by a Snapdragon 632 SoC.
It runs on the latest MIUI 10 based on Android Pie OS. It is the latest in the company’s Y-series, which is the company’s selfie and youth-focused family series.
And much like the Redmi 7, it was also announced in India at an event in New Delhi. The device is available in different variant, and color options.

Design and Display
The Redmi Y3 mobile handset arrives with a a 6.26-inch HD+ water-drop notch display, 19:9, 2.5D glass and the screen display is completely protected by a corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection.
And the back panel design is definitely exclusively, featuring a reflective finish with micro lines on the back with Aura Prism design that uses 7-layer process, has P2i nano coating making it splash proof.
It comes with in Elegant Blue, Bold Red colors and Prime Black colors options, and there is a fingerprint sensor scanner right at the back of the phone.
All the components of the phone such as the volume rocker and power button stays at the right side, it uses Micro-USB ports. The mobile phone measures at 158.65 x 76.43 x 8.47mm, and it also weighs 180 grams.
Camera and Connectivity
The Redmi Y3 arrives with a dual camera setup at the back, while the water-drop notch display houses a single camera sensor as the selfie shooter.
Redmi Y3 back panel is interrupted by a dual camera setup, which consists of a primary 12-megapixel camera lens with f/2.2 aperture and 1.25-micron pixel size support.
While the secondary 2-megapixel camera lens, acts as the depth-sensing sensor in portrait shots and AI scene detection. Camera features includes phase detection autofocus (PDAF), electronic image stabilisation (EIS), and a dual-LED flash module.

It is powered by a 14nm Mobile Platform Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC, clocked at 1.8GHz Octa-Core processor. It also comes with Adreno 506 GPU.
The mobile handset is available in two models, there is the 3GB RAM + 32GB of internal storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB of internal storage.
Fortunately, the both variants are expandable up to 512GB storage via a dedicated microSD card slot. Allowing you to store more files, such as photos, videos, musics and many more.
It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with MIUI 10 out of the box, and backed by a massive 4,000mAh battery capacity, which is powered by a dated Micro-USB port.

Meanwhile, the Redmi Y3 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version is priced at Rs. 9999, while the higher variant, 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version goes for Rs. 11,999.
It will go on sale through Amazon.in, Mi.com and Mi Home Stores starting from April 30th. They are also offering 1120GB of additional 4G data and unlimited calling for Airtel customers.
It will be made available via Mi Studio, Mi Stores, and preferred retail partners soon after. It aims to be one of the best budgeted and affordable phone in India.
