Samsung Galaxy A9 Star – A mid-range device with careful design

    Samsung hasn’t yet unveiled any Smartphone with notch display era and they are not looking forward to begin with the newly launched Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Android Smartphone.

    The Samsung Galaxy A9 Star is lot much more impressive with the intriguing design. Thankfully, the camera records 4K video at 30 fps. The selfie shooter is enhanced with Artificial Intelligence with the digital assistant, Bixby available.

    Design and Display

    The Galaxy A9 Star smartphone offers a minimal bezels on the shiny design and comes with a tall 6.28-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with a screen resolution of 2220 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18.5:9.

    The phone comes with a a metal frame and features a top and bottom bezels, the top bezels houses the selfie shooter, sensor, receiver. The dimensions are at 162.4x77x7.5mm, and the smartphone weighs 188 grams

    On the back, there is a nice dual camera setup like that of Apple iPhone but with a fingerprint sensor scanner beneath. And the company’s logo sit on the center of the device.

    The power button sit on the right edge and the volume rocker on the left. And it is available in Black and White.

    Camera and connectivity

    The Samsung Galaxy A9 Star comes with a dual camera that consists of 16-megapixels primary camera with f/1.7 aperture, phase detection autofocus, an LED flash and a secondary 24-megapixels camera. Amazingly, with the dual camera setup, the phone is bound to take crystal clear photos, blur the background, giving the subject a conspicuously shot.

    On the front, the device packs a 24MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. Bringing it to the likes of Camon X Pro, Vivo X21i, Vivo V7 and many more other Chinese manufacturing product company’s.

    While on the network and connectivity, it includes a 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, NFC, FM Radio and a USB Type – C port.

    Performance and Storage

    The handset is powered by a durable performance dubbed as Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC (like the Blackberry Key2) along with Adreno 512 GPU coupled with 4GB RAM, the Galaxy A9 Star is definitely an awesome device with powerful performance.

    And the memory storage of the device is definitely accepatable, comes with a 64GB of internal storage and it is expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card slot. The Samsung Galaxy A9 Star runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung Experience 9.0 skinned on top.

    Everything is fueled by the 3,700mAh battery with Fast charge support, it pretty much higher than the Galaxy S9 Plus. And it boasts of Dolby Atmos audio.

    Anyways, the Samsung Galaxy A9 Star is costs CNY 3,000 / $470 / €400. Which is N170K in Nigeria currency. Samsung has begin pre-order for the device and will begin shipping on the 15 of June.
