It intelligently balances multiple high-performing processes during use while conserving battery when not in use”

It is totally different from the Snapdragon 8cx compute platform powering the previous Galaxy Book S laptop. However, the new 2020 model comes with 8GB RAM, 256GB / 512GB built-in storage, which is expandable up to 1TB via microSD.

Samsung said “Galaxy Book S features a light clamshell design built with a durable metal body, so you can have the stability you need on a desk or on your lap. If you’re looking to get some fresh air while scrolling, Outdoor Mode on Galaxy Book S will instantly boost the brightness to 600 nits using a two-key shortcut.”

Other features include the Windows 10 Home/Pro, 1MP HD camera, Windows Hello sign-in with fingerprint, Ambient Light Sensor for Keyboard Backlit on/off and Hall sensor.
