Samsung Galaxy F12 and Galaxy F02s launched in India

    South Korean tech giant, Samsung announces its new affordable Smartphones – Samsung Galaxy F12 and F02s. They are slightly identical with screen display, and at the same time, totally different, especially the software features.

    For pricing and availability, the Samsung Galaxy F12 will start its first sales on the 12th of April. The 4GB RAM / 64GB storage costs INR 10,999 ($150) and the 4GB RAM / 128GB model goes for INR 11,999 ($163).

    While the Samsung Galaxy F02s first sales to begin on April 9, where the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant costs INR 8,999 ($123) and the 4GB RAM / 64GB storage model goes for INR 9,999 ($136).

    The Samsung Galaxy F12 is actually the most interesting of the two, although, it is more like a rebadged Galaxy M12 in Sea Green, Sky Blue, and Celestial Black color options.

    You still get a 6.5-inch FHD+ resolution with support for a 90Hz refresh rate, which is much better for smooth scrolling. It features a waterdrop notch display for the 8-megapixels camera cutout.

    Featuring a QUAD-rear camera setup – there is the main 48-megapixels camera, 5-megapixels ultrawide snapper, 2-megapixels macro, and 2-megapixels depth data. It runs Android 11 + One UI 3.1 operating system.

    Powering the device is an Exynos 850 processor paired with 4GB of RAM in either 64GB / 128GB of expandable storage. To keep the light on is a monstrous 6000mAh battery and a 15W charger in the box.

    Actually, this is just Galaxy M02s in new colors, offering Diamond Blue, Diamond White, and Diamond Black color options. It sports a 6.5 inches PLS IPS display with a 720 x 1600 pixels resolution.

    The Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor powers up the Galaxy FO2s paired with Adreno 506 GPU, 3GB RAM / 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM / 64GB storage, and these phones offer expansion through a MicroSD card slot.

    Around the back is a triple rear camera setup, offering a 13-megapixels primary camera, 2-megapixels macro lens, 2-megapixels depth data, and a 5-megapixels front-facing camera lens inside the waterdrop notch display.

    It features GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, USB, and Bluetooth 4.2. The design of the phone is quite impressive, with a glass front, plastic back, and a plastic frame.

    The device comes with a non-removable Li-Po 5000mAh battery with fast charging 15W support. Both devices come with Dual SIM and the FO2s run on Android 10 OS out of the box.
