The South Korean tech giant, Samsung introduces a new Smartphone to its F-series lineup, – Samsung Galaxy F62 and it is the company’s second device to packs such a big 7,000mAh battery capacity after the last year’s Samsung Galaxy M51.
Samsung Galaxy F62 was officially announced in India and comes in Laser Green, Laser Blue, and Laser Grey color options. You can pre-order the device right away from Samsung.com, Flipkart and Reliance Digital, and Jio online store.
Galaxy F62 packs a tall 6.7-inch FHD+ Infinity-O Super AMOLED Plus display with over 91% screen-to-body ratio and supports up to 420 nits brightness. The phone is 9.5mm thick and measures 218g.
It features a textured dual-tone Laser Gradient design, while the fingerprint sensor is built right into the side button of the device, which unlocks in 0.2s and doubles as the power button of the handset.
On top of the display is a single 32-megapixels front camera with an f/2.2 aperture, featuring other selfies beautification software. Around the back is a quad-camera setup with LED Flash and other camera features support.
The main sensor is the Sony IMX682 64-megapixel camera with f/1.8 aperture, supported by an additional f/2.2 12-megapixels 123° ultra-wide-angle camera, f/2.2 5-megapixels depth sensor, and f/2.4 5-megapixels macro lens.
It comes with a dedicated dual SIM and microSD slots, NFC support, Samsung Pay with Knox security, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, Dolby Atmos, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS and Secure Folder.
The Samsung Galaxy F62 is a Samsung Exynos 9 Series 9825 7nm processor that was debuted in the Galaxy Note10 line clocking at 2.7GHz Octa-Core processor counts with Mali-G76 MP12 GPU. It runs on Android 11 with One UI 3.1.
It is available in either 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB (UFS 2.1) internal storage that goes for Rs. 23,999 ($330) and the 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB (UFS 2.1) storage, both storage can be expandable up to 1TB via microSD card.
Galaxy F62 comes with a gigantic 7000mAh battery, which is its most interesting feature. There is a bundled 25W charger in the box that supports fast charging via USB Type-C with USB Type-C to Type-C cable in the box for reverse charging other phones.
Samsung set the retail price of the 6GB RAM / 128GB storage version for Rs. 23,999 ($330) and the 8GB RAM / 128GB storage goes for Rs. 25,999 ($358). There is ICICI Credit and Debit card owners get an Rs. 2,500 instant cashback. It’ll go on sale in India at 12 noon on February 22.
