The Korean Giant, Samsung mobile are rumored to unveil a new device with more than one camera at the back but surprisingly, the company decided to launch two newer mid-range Smartphones.
The latest Samsung products are added to the Galaxy J family, popularly known as the company budgeted series. Here is the Samsung Galaxy J6 plus and Galaxy J4 plus. Notably, the both phones has been leaked and speculated few weeks ago.
Samsung Galaxy J4 plus Specs

Specifically, the both phones packs respected similarities and differences. But the Galaxy J6 plus sports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and dual rear cameras. However, the features and specs are quite different from each other, the similarities are plentiful.
On the screen display, there is the same tall 6-inch HD+ with Infinity Display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio and 3300mAh battery capacity with fast charging technology.
While for the multitasking and processor, the Galaxy J6 plus comes in a 3GB and 4GB RAM variants while the Galaxy J4 plus comes in a 2GB and 3GB RAM variants. And they are both powered by a 1.4GHz, Exynos 7570 Quad-core processor.
There is also a little difference on the memory capacity, the Galaxy J4 plus comes in 16GB and 32GB internal storage, while the Galaxy J6 plus in 32GB and 64GB storage. Both phones runs on the same Android 8.1 Oreo operating system.
The cameras are different, the Galaxy J4 plus holds a single rear camera lens on the back of 13-megapixel rear camera sensor with f/1.9 aperture, with an LED flash. And a 5-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
On the other hand, the Galaxy J6 plus is enhanced with dual rear camera setup of 13-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.9 aperture) and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor (f/2.2 aperture). And packs a 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor with f/1.9 aperture.
The network and connectivity options includes: 4G VoLTE, single-band Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Galaxy J4 plus lacks fingerprint sensor scanner but the Galaxy J6 plus sports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Galaxy J6 plus is the company first Smartphone with the side-mounted fingerprint sensor. However, the prices of the both phones remains unknown but being a mid-range device, the speculated price is around N50,000 – N80,000 in Nigeria currency.
