    Depending on the market, both smartphones will either be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, or Exynos 2200 4nm 5G SoCs. Both are available in 8GB RAM with 128GB/256GB storage and run Android 12 with One UI 4.1 OS out of the box.

    Both come with a glass design, and support for an IP68 rating, which brings dust and is water-resistant. The Galaxy S22 / Galaxy S22+ weighs 168g / 196g respectively, and it is 7.6mm thick.

    The connectivity include 5G SA/NSA, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS + GLONASS, USB 3.1, NFC, and MST. The Galaxy S22 sticks only to Wi-Fi 6, while the Galaxy S22+ comes with Wi-Fi 6E and Ultra-wideband capabilities (UWB).

    The Galaxy S22 comes with a 6.1-inch, while the S22+ arrives with a bigger 6.6-inch screen size, and both pack FHD+ Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display, and support 48-120Hz adaptive refresh rate with 240Hz Touch Sampling Rate in Game Mode.

    Both sports up to 1300 nits brightness, up to 1750 nits brightness in the S22+ and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. The phones feature an in-display Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner. On the front is a 10-megapixels f/2.2 front camera sensor.

    When it comes to the optics, the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ pack a triple rear camera setup, featuring an iconic Contour Cut design that blends the camera seamlessly into the housing and has an Armor Aluminum frame, which Samsung says is the strongest aluminum frame.

    There is a primary 50-megapixel Dual Pixel primary sensor with OIS, a 1/1.57″ 1um ISOCELL GN5 sensor with f/1/8 lens, accompanied by an f/2.2 12-megapixel 120° Ultra Wide sensor, and 10-megapixel Telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS.

    All the cameras support 8K video shooting, and are both powered by advanced VDIS technology which minimizes vibrations, so you get smooth, sharp footage even when you’re on the move. Samsung also brings the new Auto Framing feature that detects and tracks up to 10 people and automatically adjusts the camera’s focus, so your camera captures everyone clearly.
