Samsung Galaxy Wide5 announced in South Korea with Dimensity 700 chips

    Samsung Galaxy Wide5 (SM-E426S) was officially announced in South Korea and the company launched the Galaxy Wide5 for carrier SK Telecom. However, it is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700, which makes it identical to the Galaxy A22 5G.

    The Dimensity 700 is a 7nm chipset offering two Cortex-A76 cores, a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU and a 2.77 Gbps 5G modem (sub-6), plus Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1 support. The Samsung Galaxy Wide5 goes for SK at KRW 450,000 ($385/€325) and subscribers can get it with a plan.

    It comes with a 6.6” diagonal display panel with 1080p+ screen resolution and a V-shaped notch that houses a single 8-megapixels sensor. The Galaxy Wide5 arrives in three different colors options – Black, White, and Blue color option.

    The Galaxy Wide5 will also be identical to the Galaxy F42 5G, as it features 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage, and comes with memory expansion via a MicroSD slot that supports up to 1TB, tho, SK Telecom website notes, “RAM capacity may vary by country”.

    For the camera, there is the primary 64-megapixels resolution, 5-megapixels ultra-wide-angle (115°) camera, and 2-megapixels depth sensor. The Galaxy Wide5 sports a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
