Tecno Camon 18T officially launched in Pakistan with 6.8-inch HD+ display and 48MP selfie lens

    TECNO has announced Camon 18T, the new handset was officially introduced in Asia, Pakistan specifically. The Tecno Camon 18T joins the company’s Camon series, and also joins TECNO’s Camon 18, Camon 18P, and Camon 18 Premier.

    Camon 18T arrives with a 6.8-inch Full HD+ screen with a standard 60Hz refresh rate and supports a 180Hz touch sampling rate. It was launched in three colors: Iris purple, Dusk Gray, and Ceramic White options. The Camon 18T sports a 3D lenticular texture panel.

    Tecno Camon 18T on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 48-megapixel primary camera; a 12-megapixel camera, and a 2-megapixel camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It has a single front camera setup for selfies, featuring a 48-megapixel sensor.

    The Tecno Camon 18T is powered by MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, a 12nm processor with 2GHz Cortex-A75 and Hexa 2GHz 6x Cortex-A55 CPUs coupled with up to 1000MHz ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU that promises improved multitasking and gaming performance.

    Camon 18T arrives in a single memory configuration, 4GB RAM, and 128GB of inbuilt storage. Tecno promises 3GB of virtual RAM (available via OTA). The Tecno Camon 18T is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards.

    The Camon 18T measures 8.95mm thick, a 3.5mm audio jack. Connectivity options on the Tecno Camon 18T include Wi-Fi, GPS, USB OTG, FM radio, 3G, and 4G. Camon 18T comes with a side-facing fingerprint scanner which also doubles up as a power button.

    The smartphone is fueled by a non-removable 5000mAh Li-Po battery with support for 18W fast charging through USB Type-C. The Camon 18T runs HiOS 8 is based on Android 11 OS out of the box.

    The TECNO CAMON 18T 4GB RAM / 128GB storage costs Rs. 27,999 Pakistani Rupee ($160 / NGN65,750 Nigerian Naira approx.) and is already on sale in Pakistani. No mention, when the device will arrive in Africa / Nigeria.
