If you have downloaded other unofficial Whatsapp application, such as Whatsapp Plus or GB Whatsapp, then you should know that, you can no longer use the app to login on Whatsapp.
Whatsapp temporarily bans all third-party apps from logging into Whatsapp, as users must have to download the official app to continue using WhatsApp.
The Instant messaging app, Whatsapp messenger has stopped users from logging via the third-party apps, as they claim that the unofficial apps violate the Terms of Service clause.
Anyways, Whatsapp has provided guidelines and step-by-steps on how to switch back to the official app, as they have provided basic instructions on backing up chat history before migrating.
The Facebook-owned company said that “If you received an in-app message stating your account is “Temporarily banned” this means that you’re likely using an unsupported version of WhatsApp instead of the official WhatsApp app. If this is the case, you must download the official app to continue using WhatsApp.”
Please be very much aware that accounts which are associated with this ban, are not permanently banned. That means, you can easily backup your chats, and go back to the main Whatsapp by downloading the app and following the instructions laid out on this website.
