Xiaomi announces the Redmi 6 Pro Android Smartphone with amazing design and respectable screen display. As we all know, the Xiaomi’s Redmi phone series are budget friendly and affordable devices.
The newly announced Smartphone arrives with copious features and specs, and the proudly notch display but surprisingly, you can easily avoid the notch display on the Redmi 6 Pro -isn’t that awesome? And I think it is worth the upgrade.

Design and Display
The Redmi 6 Pro is popularly known for its dual camera feature and comes with two-day battery capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro arrives with a realistic 5.84″-inches IPS LCD FHD+ screen display and a notch design. The Redmi 6 Pro is the only budget Redmi smartphone to feature a notched display.
Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro comes with notch, but the notch can be avoided by tapping on a sing button. The phone was launched into India’s budgeted Smartphone market. Confidentially, the Redmi phone series is available in India markets.
Thankfully, it boasts of a 1080 x 2280 screen resolution and a 19:9 aspect ratio, 1500:1 contrast ratio and 500 nits peak brightness, which is much like the Redmi Note 5 Pro. Hence, slimming down the bezels on the top and bottom borders.
Everything is packed into a premium metal body, and a perfectly rounded back edges. And it is available in four different color options, which includes: red, blue, gold and black colors. Features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor scanner.
Camera and Connectivity
Artificial Intelligence has been a real battle in the Chinese OEMs, following suits, the Redmi 6 Pro comes with a dual camera setup at the back, which consists of Sony’s IMX486 12-megapuxels + Samsung’s 5-megapixels camera setup. It also features PDAF, f/2.2 aperture and large (1.25μm and 1.12um pixels).
While the selfie snapper promotes a 5-megapixels with AI Portrait mode for clear bokeh effect and AI Face Unlock features. The front and back cameras supports HD video recording and HDR mode and the rear camera gets LED flash, large pixel size, phase detection autofocus, and electronic image stabilization.

The Redmi 6 Pro is the costliest version of other variants, and a souped version of the Redmi 6! Therefore, the Redmi 6 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2.0GHz Octa-core 14nm, and a Adreno 506 GPU for graphic control performance.
The new phone is available in two different format, 3GB RAM + 32GB of internal storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB of internal storage. However, both versions can be expandable up to 256GB via micro SD card slot.
The smartphone also includes a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI 9.6 out of the box. Features a large 4000mAh battery capacity which can lasts for two days on a single full charge, as the company claimed! The processor will help provide an optimize battery life.
The 3GB/32GB variant costs 10,999 rupees ($153) in India, while the 4GB/64GB version costs 12,999 rupees ($181). Which is around N56,000 for 3GB / 32GB and N66,000 for the 4GB / 64GB of internal storage.
