Xiaomi Redmi 9T announced with impressive specifications and features at better pricing, and the company also introduced the Redmi Note 9T 5G with a 6.53-inch FHD+ display, and Dimensity 800U 5G for the global markets.
The Redmi 9T handsets come in Carbon Gray, Twilight Blue, Sunrise Orange, and Ocean Green color options. It is a variant of the Redmi 9 Power that was recently launched in India.
Similar to the more expensive Redmi Note 9T 5G, the Redmi 9T also arrives with a 6.53-inch IPS LCD of 1080p resolution, and sports an identical Redmi Note 9T 5G’s f/1.8 48-megapixels primary camera and support LED flash.
Other supported cameras include an 8-megapixels f/2.2 ultrawide shooter with a pair of 2-megapixels for macro and depth sensors. On the front is an 8-megapixels sensor and comes with an infrared sensor, 3.5mm headphone jack, and optional NFC.
The Redmi 9T is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM, with either 64GB or 128GB of storage. As usual, it runs on Android 10 OS.
The Redmi 9T comes with a 6,000mAh big battery capacity with 18W charging speed, and the company promises up to 4 years of reliability and multiple days on a single charge from it.
You can order the Redmi 9T 4GB RAM + 64GB storage version at 159 Euros ($194 USD) and the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version goes up to 189 Euros ($231 USD). It will be available from the 9th of January.
On the other hand, is the Redmi Note 9T with the same 6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 450nits brightness, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, 161.96 × 77.25 × 9.05mm dimension and weighs 199g.
The phone has a 3D curved back with a textured fingerprint-resistant finish and Z-axis linear vibration motor. There is a P2i coating for Splash resistance and supports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor scanner.
It is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Dimensity 800U (MT6873V) 7nm processor in either 4GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB storage, and it is expandable up to 256GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
The device runs on Android 10 with MIUI 12, comes with Dual SIM support for nano + nano + microSD. Others included are FM Radio, Stereo speakers, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS, and NFC.
The cameras are the same as the Redmi 9T, there is the main 48-megapixels camera with LED Flash, 2-megapixels depth sensor, and 2-megapixels macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. It also comes with an f/2.25 13-megapixels selfie camera.
The Redmi Note 9T packs a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging through USB Type-C. It is available in Daybreak Purple and Nightfall Black color options. It will start rolling from the 11th of January.
Where the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version costs 229 Euros ($280 USD), and the 128GB storage version is priced at 269 Euros ($329 USD). Although, users can get the 64GB and 128GB at 199 Euros ($243 USD) and 249 Euros ($304 USD) respectively for early bird pricing.
